Do research on people who will be interviewing you
It’s very important to know who will be interviewing you. Knowing what their position in the company is can help you to anticipate the kind of questions they will ask and what elements of your experience they will be interested in most. Having information about your interviewer will help you to be better prepared.
For example, if you are being interviewed by the head of the sales department then most likely they will ask you questions about sales: what sales techniques you know and use, what your sales performance versus target was in your previous job, or even just in which ways you have worked with sales staff in the past. The easiest way to find information on your interviewers is to check the website of the company – start with the “About us”, “Our team” or “Contact us” pages. If you have an account, then you can also use business networking site Linkedin. You can also try searching for their names in Google.
