As an Agile Project Manager, you will be an expert in your field and a servant leader, coaching and guiding colleagues. Through positive role modelling and agile principles you will drive the delivery of epics, as well as standards and practices within the community.

You will work collaboratively with other change professionals and sponsors to realise business benefits and value through delivery of a wide variety of limited complexity changes. These can be both standalone or as part of a wider programme of change or a portfolio of small tasks/changes. You will take an agile approach – being responsive and working collaboratively with agile delivery teams.

Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate strong experience in project management and agile delivery, having delivered a variety of projects and/or Epics of different types and sizes, as well as the following:

Detailed understanding of waterfall and agile with good experience of utilising both methodologies
Strong understanding of end to end change management
Extensive experience in leading/facilitating teams and influencing at all levels, including problem solving and resolution
Exceptional stakeholder management skills
Experience with estimating, planning and managing associated risks, issues and changes
Experience setting the direction of a team on medium to large change initiatives.
Experience working with distributed teams in multiple time-zones and where cultural differences need to be considered.
Solution-focussed with a keen and pro-active approach to problem-solving and removing blockers to progress.
Proficient in the use of Agile tools such as Jira/confluence
A growth mind-set focussed on continuous improvement
Identify and manage the resources needed for change initiative(s) from internal and/or external providers, taking account of availabilities and scheduling including the procurement and contracts for the provision of goods and/or services, monitoring compliance to Allianz standards and managing variances.
Experience in handling conflict and competing demands from stakeholders.
SAFe 5.0 experience is highly desirable.
Experience of delivering within an agile team

Qualifications

Educated to degree level or holder of further professional qualifications
Project management/change/agile management professional qualifications preferred but not essential

This role is Hybrid so is a mix of remote and office working (main office based in Guildford) however, other office locations may be considered.
