The Programme Officer, Conservation Finance is a new role within FFI, supporting the organisation’s expanding portfolio of work in the area of sustainable finance and enterprise development. Within this area, this role will work across responsibilities of the team, from research and analysis to project management, fundraising, capacity development and communications. It will work closely with our external partners within the Cambridge Conservation Initiative and with our regional teams and local partners working on the ground to deliver conservation impact.

You will be a highly motivated and organised individual, looking to apply your expertise in finance and business to solve global conservation challenges. You should have work experience in the private sector, ideally with a start-up, consulting or finance industry background. A guru in Excel and Powerpoint, you should have experience undertaking research and analysis to both develop business and financial models. A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders, from investors to local communities, is required, as is a willingness to travel to remote areas in developing countries. Fluency in English is essential. Experience in project management, fundraising and/or a second language relevant to FFI’s work, such as Russian, Portuguese or Spanish, are advantageous.
