Fulltime Permanent – 4 Month Secondment with acting up allowance, potential to make permanent following Secondment
As an integral part of a busy Project Coordination team, you will be required to lead, develop and manage a team of Project Coordinators. Overall accountability for team performance and driving change to improve efficiency. Responsible for delivering results in line with departmental KPI’s and building relationships with key stakeholders.
Provide effective coordination and control of small projects. Driving objectives and outputs, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, to budget, and that satisfy customer requirements.
Provide supplier provisioning support on larger projects accountable to the allocated project manager. A driver on value-add activity to support the project manager in delivering day to day running of complex projects and programmes.
Review quality of individual and team performance, in line with monthly targets, to ensure delivery against KPI’s.
Compile regular management reports to forecast and manage resource effectively to ensure targets are achieved
Conducting monthly 121’s and manage individuals in line with the absence policy
Effectively performance manage individuals (PIP, PDP etc.); consistent feedback to individuals (Good & Constructive).
Ensure appropriate progression plans are in place for each team member.
Effectively handle escalations resolving issues where possible to ensure on-time delivery.
Effective distribution and management of own workload, team workload & customer contact; appropriate prioritisation of urgent and important tasks.
Communicate messages clearly and appropriately; use the correct method for the message.
Liaising with suppliers and internal departments; ensure effective escalation
Be accountable for ensuring that every customer interaction is handled to the same consistent high standard delivering customer service excellence
Use own problem-solving skills to identify and resolve recurring issues
Be driven to deliver “right first time” culture
Proven experience of managing a team
Previous experience in a telecoms industry
Working with third party providers/Relationship Management
