Job Description

£120,000 – £140,000 a year


  • Follow daily news flow on the covered instruments and countries, commenting on the most important ones both internally and to clients daily;
  • Maintain the list of recommendations for the bonds (on Russian and Emerging Markets bonds portfolio composition) under coverage that are relevant given the news environment;
  • Responsible for taking short-, medium- and long-term views on the financial performance of investment grade; identifying mis-priced bonds and making actionable trade recommendations in high-yield and distressed companies (Russia and Emerging Markets);
  • Working closely with relevant internal stakeholders, including trading & investment teams, compliance;
  • Providing support to the Structuring Team in stock selection for their Products;
  • Manage and lead the Fixed Income Research team, ensuring that all team members clearly understand department’s structure, scope of responsibilities, individual and team’s objectives;
  • Participate in the internal meetings, including risk committees, markets outlook reviews;
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements, both UK and Russia.


· University degree;

· CFA (or equivalent) certification;

· Excellent knowledge of the Russian and EM credit;

· Experience in EM credit coverage of no less than 3 years;

· Experience in Russian credit coverage of no less than 5 years;

· Strong knowledge of FCA rules & requirements;

· Good client base among UK buy-side firms is a major plus;

· Knowledge of Russian language would be an advantage.
