Our client is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join their team at this GastoPub/Restaurant in Bradford.
The Role:
This Gastropub serves a mixture of modern home comfort and traditional dishes, with an emphasis on fresh, local produce. They are looking for a Kitchen Manager who needs to be passionate about great seasonal ingredients, bring energy, have stamina & inspiration.
We are looking for someone who will enjoy the freedom of being part of an independent business, giving them input into the menus and specials.
The duties of the job include:
Preparing meals from a variety of ingredients
Ensuring excellence in hygiene and food safety practices and procedures.
Ordering from suppliers
Effective cost management.
Involvement in Menu Development.
Cleaning and washing up
Organising Specials
You will need to be able to work well under pressure and be prepared to work as part of a team to help drive the business forward.
Your Experience:
4+ yrs chef experience in a fresh food environment
Be a hardworking person with a can-do attitude
Experience working in a busy restaurant
Have good communication skills
Be guest focused and passionate about food
Be able to work daytime, evenings and weekends
Use to working independently
