Reinventing Board Games

At QPLAY, it’s our mission to reinvent board games. We create hybrid gaming experiences at the intersection of board games and video games, resulting in the ultimate game night experience, where everyone in the family wants to be involved! Our community relies on us to bring them a fun, social & thrilling experience. That’s why we invented Outsmarted. From our humble beginnings on Kickstarter in 2020, we’re now one of the world’s best-selling new board games, and a top 10 UK title. By combining the Outsmarted game board with a feature-rich mobile app, and an exciting selection of multimedia-driven quiz question content, we provide the Outsmarted community with a live TV quiz show-like experience in the comfort of their home!

Already in multiple international markets, Outsmarted will be sold in over 10 international markets throughout 2023, growing our user base to over two million players. In order to reach our growth targets, it’s essential we harness the power of our existing customer base and develop a network of brand ambassadors to spread the word far & wide.

Having recently secured a 2nd round of venture capital investment, we’re looking to expand our team of four, to a team of ten Outsmartians, and in pursuit of our mission, it’s essential that we stay grounded in our values: be innovative, seek growth, deliver a world class and unrivalled, trivia gameplay experience with an increasingly engaged community. At QPLAY, you will be joining a small team of ambitious, supportive Outsmartians with diverse backgrounds but a shared passion to deliver on our mission to reinvent boardgames.

The Opportunity at QPLAY:

As the liaison between Outsmarted and its audience, to succeed, you’ll combine empathy, eloquence, and creativity, with organizational skills to own and grow engagement with the Outsmarted community. Community heads come from a variety of backgrounds – anything from journalism to engineering, as the role relies more on a set of skills than a specific discipline. Should you feel an immediate connection with the role as you read on, we invite you to apply.

Looking back on your first 12 months at QPLAY:
