The KPMG Corporate Intelligence (CI) team is looking for paid Researchers* to start immediately for Due Diligence work within the CI sector. Applicants should be able to devote at least 30 hours per week. We are specifically looking for linguists.

Role and Responsibilities:

The analyst will evaluate risk-related findings identified by an Artificial Intelligence tool.

In addition, he/she will conduct open source research to identify relevant risk information. This involves research of corporate databases, legal databases and press and media sources. He/she will also analyse and evaluate information identified, summarise and write up findings in a standardised report format.

Essential:

Fluency in one or more of the following languages with the ability to conduct open source research and translate accurately is required; Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Russian;

Ability to work efficiently and accurately, and to do so in a confidential manner;

Relevant work experience, including online research, journalism or any investigative background. Experience in compliance-related due diligence would be advantageous.

Strong academic background, and preferably a degree in Languages, IR, Politics or Economics;

Candidate must undergo a research and language skills test in the first instance. This test is sent to the candidate via email at a pre agreed time. 1 hour is allowed for the candidate to complete the test and when returned, KPMG will review the test. If successful, they are then invited for a telephone interview. Following that, the candidate will then be informed if they are offered the position.
